Wood box manufacturing - The first step in the construction of all Revolutionary watch winders is the construction of the solid watch winder housing. Next, fifteen layers of Polyurethane provides for a piano-type, glossy finish. Each layer requires hand polishing, tinting, drying and finishing. Fifteen layers of Polyurethane equates to 30 days of labor-intensive workmanship to achieve the wood surface as smooth and shiny as a mirror, while still retaining wood grain visibility. The next step in the construction process entails adding hinges, fabrics and other materials. Most work requires specialized skills, which means the construction of the box will achieve the same quality and workmanship of the wood exterior case. On-line quality control is set up during each stage of the production. After the final assembly, a 100% quality control procedure begins resulting in the repair and/or disposal of sub-standard products.

Absolutely! We offer watch winders that are custom made for individuals. Customers have the option to choose the color of the wood case along with the interior material. Currently there are 12 exterior color wood options and 20 interior material options. We currently stock two of the most popular exterior wood color combinations (Light Oak and Dark Oak).
